        The medical department has a nurse on call twenty-four hours a day in conjunction with the medical professional who is on campus Monday thru Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There is an infirmary located in the medical department where a student can be examined and treated by the medical staff and kept as comfortable as possible during their illness. On staff are also a Medical Program Specialist and a Medical Transporter who secure all doctor appointments and see that each student arrives safely in a timely manner.

        There are numerous physicians and specialist that are on contract by the Center to give the professional medical attention to students when needed. Fifteen miles north of the campus you will find Huntsville Memorial Hospital and fifteen miles south there is Conroe Regional Medical Center, both facilities have professionals on staff to treat most medical conditions. The Center has a Program Specialist on staff to process all Medicaid applications. An application is completed on each student that is enrolled in the program
